Qualifications and job responsibilities:
- Establish an effective mechanism for the development of national and traditional sports between males and females;
- Prepare a plan for sports equipment and send it to the center to prepare the necessary necessities;
- Creating suitable grounds for attracting and attracting national institutions and businessmen in order to strengthen the material strength of sports;
- Communicating leadership decisions to all relevant branches and reporting on their implementation to ensure transparency;
- Organizing sports competitions to improve the level of professional skills and healthy sports competitions among athletes;
- Development and renovation of sports facilities to facilitate sports conditions for athletes and sports enthusiasts;
Managerial and executive duties
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual work plan in accordance with the general plan, in order to achieve the strategic goals of the department;
- Identify and propose budget requirements based on the annual work plan of the relevant department;
- Achieving the goals and programs of the Afghanistan National Peace and Development Strategy and the National Anti-Corruption Strategy in the relevant field;
- Lead and provide timely information within government departments, civil society, media, and citizens, taking into account the objectives of the law on access to information and the policy of the relevant department;
- Observing and ensuring the implementation of the Administrative Enforcement Law, the Law on the Prevention of Harassment of Women and Children, and the Code of Conduct in the Relevant Work Area;
- Transfer of professional skills through workshops, seminars, and workflow training to affected employees;
- Evaluate the performance of affected employees in order to motivate them to improve performance, increase efficiency and productivity, determine training needs and increase capacity building;
- Provide monthly, quarterly, annual and, if necessary, report on the activities and achievements of the relevant department, in order to inform the leadership of the department;
- Perform other duties assigned by the competent authorities in accordance with the laws, regulations, and objectives of the relevant department.
Coordination tasks:
- Liaise with the Center for Guidance, Technical Support, Orders, Policies, and Executive Plans;
- Establishing relations and coordination with athletes and sports federations to launch sports competitions;
- Coordinating with the relevant departments of the department and other related departments to achieve the expected goals of the department;
Employment conditions (educational level and work experience):
- Field of study: At least a bachelor’s degree in one of the fields: Physical Education and Sports, Individual Sports, Social Sports, Sports Medicine, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Public Policy, and higher degrees in The above or other related disciplines from national and international institutions from inside or outside the country are preferred;
- Work experience: related to one of the sections (management experience, professional or a combination of related managerial and specialized experiences in the job descriptions and responsibilities of this position) from national and international institutions from inside or outside the country;
- Managerial and specialized, at least three years for a bachelor’s degree, two years for a master’s degree, and one year for a doctorate; (Holders of less than one year of work experience in one of the managerial or specialized departments are not eligible for this position.)
- Managerial or specialized, five years in one of the mentioned sections;
- Necessary skills: Fluency in one of the official languages (Dari or Pashto) and familiarity (writing and speaking) in English, ability to lead and control administration and computer skills in task-related programs;
Skills required:
- Fluency in one of the official languages of the country (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) in English
- Computer skills related to the task.
