Job Description

Duties and Responsibility

  • Survey and data collection in districts and villages of the province
  • Job competencies and responsibilities based on the questionnaires prepared from the relevant village
  • Collection of accurate data from areas and district administrative units
  • Interviewing village chiefs, tribal elders, religious scholars, and youth activists
  • The surveyor must be familiar with the use of GPS and ODD systems
  • Data collection should be based on interviews and observations
  • Establish need-related roundtables or (focus groups) in rural areas
  • Surveyors visit the affected areas again to resolve any deficiencies in the data collected.
  • The surveyor should travel to the respective areas as per the given plan and follow the prescribed procedure
  • Reporting to the Provincial Project Officer at the end of each working day
  • Maintain confidentiality of the information collected and do not share it with other agencies and authorities
  • The surveyor should be able to travel to all areas of his / her respective district
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Provincial Manager of the project

Eligibility

  • Special privileges are given to Bachelor holder candidate
  • Have at least one year of work experience in survey, data collection, research or related field
  • Familiarity with Pashto and Dari languages
  • Travel to all the villages of the respective districts
  • Have good reporting skills
