Qualifications and job responsibilities:

  • Photographing workshops, seminars, and other events in different sections of the Ministry of Justice;
  • Preparing photos for the Journal of Justice, Legal Awareness and the website of the Ministry of Justice;
  • Record photos on CDs and preserve them;
  • Filming meetings, conferences, and contracts with donor countries;
  • Filming of major events in different parts of the Ministry of Justice;

Management duties:

  • Arranging monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans in accordance with the general plan in order to achieve the objectives set by the department;
  • Prepare archives of video films for reporting and review of understandings in the publication of some films by the media when necessary;
  • Set up a list of casts on the computer for reporting and urgent or occasional necessity;
  • Preparing photos and clips required by the media and sending them to the relevant authorities;

Coordination tasks:

  • Guiding new employees and transferring the necessary experiences to them, in order to improve the performance of the relevant department;
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, annual and, if necessary, reports on relevant activities and achievements, in order to inform the relevant directorate;
  • Perform other duties assigned by the competent authorities in accordance with the laws, regulations, and objectives of the relevant ministry;

Employment conditions (level of education and work experience):

  • Having at least a bachelor’s degree in one of the fields: journalism and a higher degree in the mentioned fields is preferred;
  • Fluency in one of the official languages (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) with English;
  • Computer skills
