Duties and responsibility

  • Prepare the necessary recommendations in the section of prenatal care, time of birth, postpartum, and family planning methods and provide correct information for each client in the section of family planning methods.
  • Responsible for the client’s gynecological examination and asks the doctor for advice if necessary
  • Proper examination of the client (patient) and giving appropriate recommendations in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Public Health and the International Department of Afghanistan
  • Strictly adhere to all international standards of Afghanistan
  • Perform midwife-related responsibilities, such as adapting intrauterine devices, MVA, and other gynecological methods according to her skill
  • Preparation of spice report on a monthly basis to the office manager
  • Checking the Warsaw week available in the clinic from Stock Card and reporting to the clinic manager
  • Provide the right medicine for the sick
  • Provide reliable family planning information for the client and give good advice to the client about being eligible in various ways.
  • Administration, distribution, and description of spice supplements

  • Responsible for preparing, storing, and consuming spices and medical supplies in the procedure room

Job Requirements:

  • Have a diploma in midwifery
  • Three to four years of experience working with national or international non-governmental health institutions
  • Have information about Afghanistan’s healthcare system and pharmaceutical market or other similar issues
  • Having excellent oral and written communication skills in Dari and English in an excellent and technical way
  • Ability to work effectively with teams and partner teams outside Afghanistan
