Specialized tasks

  1. Designing and arranging guidelines and procedures in the field of improving the speed of operation, executive quality, and transparency in the implementation of infrastructure construction affairs and monitoring its implementation;
  2. Management and supervision of the implementation of the operational plan of the infrastructure building of the Afghanistan Railway Administration, taking into account the set indicators;
  3. Managing the order of monitoring checklists in order to monitor the work process of the relevant projects and ensure its implementation;
  4. Monitoring and evaluating the technical work process of projects in the capital and provinces, identifying challenges and presenting them to the authorities in order to find appropriate solutions;
  5. Identify gaps, deficiencies, and deficiencies in staff capacity, the executive structure required equipment and procedures of relevant departments and take timely action to address these issues;
  6. Ensuring and supervising the implementation of construction projects in accordance with the plans, technical specifications, and working volumes of the norm project and the accepted standards of the department;
  7. Provide technical advice to the leadership of the department in order to prepare, adjust, update and implement the strategic plan of the department and other technical matters.

Management duties:

  1. Provide communication and coordination with the central departments of the department for better coordination of infrastructure building affairs;
  2. Provide communication and coordination with the provincial departments of the administration to implement and control the assigned tasks;
  3. Provide communication and coordination with other departments to better perform the assigned tasks.

Employment conditions (level of education and work experience):

  • Having at least a bachelor’s degree in one of the fields
    • Seoul Electromechanical Engineering
    • Transport Railway Construction Engineer
    • Transportation Building Engineering from national and international educational institutions inside or outside the country and higher degrees in the mentioned fields are preferred.
  • Managerial or specialized in one of the sections of construction affairs and infrastructure of railways, railway construction projects, construction of asphalt roads, railway engineering, or other items listed in the specialized duties in this bill of duties from inside or outside the country, at least three years for a bachelor’s degree, two years for a master’s degree and one year for a doctorate.

Skills required:

  1. Fluency in one of the official languages (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) with English;
  2. Computer skills in task-related programs.
  3. Necessary skills in leadership, communication, and decision making
