Duties and Responsibility

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on registered forms;
  • Monitoring the situation of children in the Spineboldak border valley;
  • Conducting interviews with children at the border at least three days a week at the Spineboldak border;
  • Conducting at least 100 interviews per month (70 boys and 30 girls) or more if needed;
  • Monitoring the situation of children in districts near the border;
  • Monitoring the situation of child laborers working in brick kilns as well as factories;
  • Participate in open meetings if public relations is not present;
  • Coordinate closely and send acute cases of child human rights violations to the monitoring and grievance departments in the day-to-day administration;
  • Participate in meetings of government institutions on improving the situation of migrant and working children at the border;
  • Carrying out monitoring missions on the rights of the child and conducting interviews in accordance with the procedure established by the Commission;
  • Participate in workshops to monitor human rights/children’s rights and how to use the database;
  • Participate in workshops organized by the Commission’s headquarters to monitor human rights and children’s rights;
  • Compliance with the rules, regulations, and bills of the commission by the employees of the department;
  • Observance of the “principles of confidentiality or confidentiality”, the approach of “non-harm” and the best interests of the child always by the Border Patrol of the Rights of the Child at all times and in all places;
  • Other matters entrusted to him/her by the Head of Office and the Coordinator / Master.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor of Laws, Social Sciences and Journalism;
  • Two years of work-related work experience;
  • Familiarity with data entry and form filling houses;
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in two official languages (Persian and Pashto);
  • Travel to provinces and districts covered by the work area;
  • The applicant must be a resident of Spinboldak or Kandahar;
  • Computer skills and programs required;
  • Proficiency in English.
