The Embassy of the Republic of India in Kabul in its Memorandum No. Kab / 327/01 / 2021-22 dated 25 March 2021, awarded (1,000) one thousand scholarships for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in various Indian universities for the years 2021 – 2022 within the framework of the ICCR program for Afghan citizens.

  • Candidates in engineering, physics, alchemy, and mathematics are required to have completed grades 10 to 12;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Candidates must submit a text that expresses their thoughts and interests in the form of 500 words in English to establish the English language and can also submit the document (TOEFL and IELTS) if available;
  • Candidates for master’s and doctoral degrees are required to prepare a research paper related to their chosen field and send all the required documents to the relevant university through the relevant link in the portal (www.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in);
  • Candidates for master’s and doctoral degrees should not be older than 45 years;
  • Fill in the application forms for the scholarship and the correct forms according to the site format (www.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in) ICCR;
  • A list of universities and educational institutions that candidates can apply for and other required information is available on the portal;

  • The cost of the university was paid by the scholarship authority;
  • Flight ticket and health insurance include the mentioned scholarship;
  • The extra classes that the student pursues are paid for by the student;
  • Forms and other documents that are not originally in English are not acceptable without an English translation;
  • Students interested in submitting their forms directly online through the portal (www.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in);
  • Registration in the mentioned link will be done from March 15 to April 30, 2021, the applications will be sent directly to the relevant institution;
  • English language test and online interview are taken by the relevant university/institute before selection;
  • Rejection of candidates will be notified directly to the candidates by the relevant educational institution; successful students will receive a letter of acceptance from the Indian Embassy in Kabul;
  • Applicants must submit the forms directly submit the application online and the list of candidates along with the application forms, a copy of the educational documents, and the original health certificates from (valid hospital or laboratory) to the Embassy of the Republic of India in Kabul by May 5, 2021 ;
  • The memo also states that the English language proficiency test will not be taken from candidates nominated at the Indian Embassy in Kabul;
  • Candidates are rejected directly by the relevant university or institute;
  • The Indian embassy in Kabul has also been reminded to upload the required documents to the scholarship on the portal (www.a2acscholarships.iccr.gov.in).
  • Therefore, those interested in scholarships for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs (ICCR) in India are requested to study the above conditions carefully and, if they are eligible, apply for the scholarship portal using the site.
